  An absolutely beautiful place to visit all year round. I've been to Linacre hundreds of times, but each time the beautiful scenery and walk never fails to amaze me. The place looks beautiful in both snow and summer sun. Paths take you around and in between the three reservoirs and are lined with plenty of benches, perfect for a picnic or just for taking a break. The walk takes you through beautiful forest trees, past tranquil fields and across the wooden walkways over the reservoir. There's plenty of wildlife and nature to see. It is perfect for dogs. There's a public toilet that is extremely clean and well maintained. Parking is relatively cheap and you usually won't struggle to find a space. Another bonus is that it's so close to Chesterfield, but you still experience the countryside feel here.
